PLEASE NOTE: The Out-of-Trade Register is ONLY for apprentices/trainees who have previously been registered as an apprentice or trainee in Queensland and have since had their training contract cancelled or are at risk of being cancelled and are looking to secure employment in order to re-commence their apprenticeship or traineeship.

Cancelled apprentices and trainees relocating from interstate may also apply for inclusion on the Out-of-Trade Register and may be requested to provide evidence of their previous training contract(s).

These apprentices and trainees can provide their details below to be posted on the Out-of-Trade Register.

The Department of Education and Training (DET) is collecting your personal information to register you on the Out-of-Trade Register. This register is publicly available on the Apprenticeships Info website to enable employers to shortlist prospective employees; however the only details published will be trade occupation, locations, year level and mode of employment. All other details will be kept on an internal register and will only be accessed by authorised employees or contractors within DET. The contact details you have provided may be used to call, email or post you details of employers interested in employing you. Some of your details will also be given to the Group Training Association of Queensland and Northern Territory's tradeapprentices.com.au service who will contact you in relation to reconnecting with employers. Information collected may be used by DET for generating statistics on the Out-of-Trade Register. Your information will not be given to any other person or agency unless you have given us permission or we are required to by law.
