Registered Training Organisations and Travel and Accommodation Online
The Department of Education and Training's Travel and Accommodation Online system enables eligible apprentices and trainees to electronically lodge their travel and accommodation claims for attendance at their training organisation. Travel and Accommodation Online will also enable training organisations to electronically verify the attendance of the apprentice or trainee through DETConnect.
How to get involved
Training organisations who have not yet come on board with the new Travel and Accommodation Online system and who have apprentices and trainees who can benefit from lodging claims online, should read the below introductory presentation. The presentation provides general information on Travel and Accommodation Online as well as the RTO requirements to get started. RTOs will also need to be familiar with the easy-to-read RTO manual (see below) which gives all the information you need to use the RTO section of Travel and Accommodation Online.

Training organisations who come on board with Travel and Accommodation Online will receive a supply of coloured flyers advertising the online system (PDF, 410KB) to hand out to their apprentices and trainees.
